Elliott Waters who supplied the photograph advises me that "It spent most of it's time with Arriva based at Darlington or Durham depots, either working town services or stretching out to Richmond as seen on the photos before it was ousted by Solo's and moved to Ashington where it gained the Arriva inter-urban colours. Unique in that it had a full rear destination and was the only ALX200 in the Arriva North East fleet".
